This was my dad when he was a little boy. Today would have been his 71st birthday.

He died from smoking related diseases just 3 weeks after his 65th Birthday. He had been sick since 1971! But wouldn't give up those ciggies.

I wasn't allowed to have "no more pain, peace at last" put on his gravestone! Maybe because I meant it differently to how it sounds at first.

So sad when people die due to smoking related diseases. My mom had an uncle who had several bypass surgeries and still wouldn't give up smoking. Very sad.

Very nice photo of you dad. Sorry that you lost him early.

It´s a very nice photo of your daddy being a little one. I feel very sorry for your loss...

A boy and his dog! A much better way to remember your dad than how he ended his life! Thanks for the share!

My photo is up. Happy Wednesday!

Beautiful pic. The same thing happened to my father. He just wouldn't quit smoking. I can understand your loss.

My father passed away due to smoking too. My thoughts are with you today.

It's so sad to lose beloved ones. My mommy died in 1998 on cancer. I still miss her.

That's a really beautiful picture. A good way to keep him in memory.

Hugs,
Sonny
