Wow. First thoughts on seeing the picture, "Wise old owl. Eyes are the windows to the soul." No kidding, that's what I thought. And that I could use some of that wisdom right now. Then I noticed how sharp the picture is, too. VERY cool photo! ;)

Thanks for all the great comments. I took the pic myself using good a old fashioned film SLR camera!

The owl is from a scantuary and was at a country fair to promote the work. We did get to hold him
